I’ve spent over a decade studying and building a sustainable tarot practice. In that time, I’ve met so many people that are drawn to tarot, but have no idea how to advance forward. They find resources online, pick up books, watch videos, and struggle with how to put it all together.

What’s missing isn’t more information: it’s connection.

Nobody was showing them how to relate back every card to a memory they’ve already lived. How to trust their intuitive voice. How to develop an authentic point of view that carries their knowledge forward.

Individual mentorship.

One-hour tutoring sessions per week, for six weeks. Individualized attention focused on readings, comprehension, and your development as a professional tarot reader. All certification students get access to a private Discord server.

Testing Your Skills
A rigorous final exam.

Certification culminates in a written exam, an oral presentation, and three complete tarot sessions with real volunteers, recorded and reviewed by Patrick. Certification isn’t guaranteed in this program: you either pass, or you retake the exam until you do.

The Diploma
A credential you earned.

Graduates of the program are awarded The Tarot Academy Diploma, will have their website and social media added to the list of Tarot Academy Alumni on the official website, and will be referred for tarot work.

  • None at all. Tarot Academy is built for everyone, from someone who has never held a deck to someone who has been reading professionally for years. The curriculum starts from first principles and builds into territory that will challenge even experienced students. Wherever you're starting from, you'll be met there.

  • Tarot Academy is entirely online. When you enroll, you'll receive a login and access to a dedicated page on the website where all course material lives. The full curriculum is video-based, accessible from any device, and yours for life. There are no live sessions and no set schedule. Students move through the material at their own pace. If the curriculum is ever updated or expanded, that content is yours too, automatically, at no extra cost.

  • That depends on you and how deeply you want to go. The core curriculum is 25+ hours of instruction, and most students move through it in 8 to 12 weeks studying a few hours per week. But tarot is a practice, not just a subject. Many students find themselves revisiting lessons as their understanding deepens. There's no deadline, and the course is yours for life.

  • Absolutely. In fact, that's where the most meaningful tarot practice lives. The course is built around developing a personal, embodied relationship with the cards, so that when you pull a card for yourself, you're not consulting a definition. You're having a conversation with your own experience. The professional path content is there for those who want it, but it's entirely optional.

  • It's recommended that students use the Rider Waite Smith tarot deck without annotations. This is the most widely studied deck and the one the curriculum is built around. If you already own a different deck, you can still take the course, but the RWS is strongly recommended.

  • The founding class is the first wave of students to enroll in Tarot Academy. Founding class tuition is $900. Once the founding class closes, tuition returns to $1,200 permanently. Join the waitlist to be invited when enrollment opens.

  • The Certification program is a separate offering for students who are serious about going all the way. It is $3,000 and includes six weeks of weekly 1:1 sessions with Patrick, culminating in a three-part final exam. Enrollment is by application only and opens 5 times a year. Spaces are limited. Purchase of the Tarot Academy course is required for consideration.

  • All sales are final. There are no refunds on the Tarot Academy course or the Certification program. For Certification students, Patrick will make every effort to accommodate your schedule. However, if you do not appear for a scheduled session, that session is forfeited.
